Decision making and managing change – Ensuring objectives are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound, and understanding the impact change can have upon others.
Effective Communication – Providing positive and critical feedback and exploring assertive, aggressive and passive styles of communication. The importance of regular team briefings will be included.
Delegation skills – What can and cannot be delegated and the difference between delegation and abdication, and why it is not just easier to do it yourself!
Character Type Recognition – An introduction to the four main types of character, their motivations, strengths and weaknesses. This leads on to how to modify your own behaviour according to the type of person you are dealing with.
Performance management - The step-by-step approach to managing performance including when to seek input and advice from Branch Management and Head Office.
